Exclusive visit of the Füchtingshof charitable housing estate
The romantic courtyards and mews secreted behind the street fronts are one of Lübeck’s most charming features. Almost 90 walkways and courtyards from medieval times still exist in the Old Town, among them charitable housing estates built for the poor. The most famous one is the beautiful Füchtingshof, which dates back to 1639. Widows of seafarers who lost their lives at sea found a room for living here.
It is possible for small groups up to 15 persons to visit the former master’s reception room - one of the most beautiful ones in Lübeck - on an exclusive basis. Catering can be arranged.
