Weather:
The climate conditions in the western Baltic Sea are influenced by the North Sea and the East European continent. In general NE-weather conditions with sea climate. The summer is not too hot, variable winds, with long sunny periods. Over the year predominate winds westerly to easterly 3 - 4 Bft.

No declaration needed for pax and crew landing;
Entry procedures and formalities:
Customs, Immigration and Health Authorities will board at the berth or outside with pilot to "speed up” formalities; Passports are to be inspected and/or stamped; Pursers can have passports inspected/stamped collectively; Pax have not to report to Immigration; Approx. 10-15 minutes from docking, until the ship is cleared
Visa requirements:
Not necessary for US-citizens whether pax in transit or disembarking /others according to regulations

To ensure quick clearance and immediate landing of passengers, a preadvise of pax and crew-list sent by DHL to the ships agents min. 3 days before arrival is essential;
Taxes applied:
No special tax or charge per pax irrespective of port charges are payable neither in transit nor when embarking/disembarking, except normal mail expenses

All major airlines have direct/connecting flights to International Airport Hamburg, distance approx. 90km, Frankfurt International Airport, distance approx. 560km and Copenhagen International Airport in Denmark, distance approx. 230km. Rail transfer from Hamburg to Lübeck approx. 45min, from Frankfurt and Copenhagen approx. 4h; Lübeck-Blankensee Regional airport offers any kind of charter flights. lt is allowed to serve tax free liquor while in port; it is allowed to operate the Gift shop or Hairdressing Saloon while in port;
Potable water:
Fresh water is available from pipeline and barge, but mainly by hose; Rate of delivery is 120 tons/hr, 2 hoses. Dimensions of connections: B-Storz-suctioncoupling and adapters to the vessels equipment are available.
Bunker:
All grades of heavy fuel, diesel and lube oil are available.
Shipyard facilities:
Ship repair facilities are available at Flender Shipyard;

Regular working hours:
24 hours. In general shops in Travemünde and Lübeck are open from 09.00 am to 07.00 pm. During high season extension of opening hours possible; Line men 24hours

One copy of passenger list for immigration on arrival, preferably 3 days before arrival.

No special details or form required, computer list used on board is sufficient.
Crew list:
One copy of crew list for immigration on arrival, preferably 3 days before arrival.

Visa requirements/shore passport will be issued before arrival for Philippine crew members, other nations on request.
Arrival reports:
Captain's declaration on arrival is not necessary in writing, will be obtained by water-police from ships document;
List of crew articles (personal effects) is not required; store list is not required.
Health declaration:
Health declaration form is not required.

Vessel will be granted free pratique normally 10 minutes after mooring.

No vaccine certificates are required.
Passenger Terminal facilities:
Height of gangway of covered walkway from MLW is approx. 4,5m. Forklifts and lorries for luggage Transport are available.
Control by water-police and port authorities. X-ray equipment for persons and luggage is available.
